The Voice For God - The afterlife
Heaven, or what ever name we elect for the afterlife is a step by step achievement. Because of the power of our free will the trip to eternity has many twists and turns.

. When we reach Heavens Gate, there is a borderland of thought that stands between this world and Heaven. It is not a place, and when you reach it is apart from time. We may not know it, but we have learned very little during our life dream. The Creator and the true teachers of God are aware until we understand perfect peace we know nothing. And the main reason we meet at the borderland is to remember what Inner Peace is like. God's gift of perfect peace is difficult to fully understand in words. But lets have a go at it.
Perfect Peace - The still infinity of endless peace surrounds each of us gently in its soft embrace, so strong and quiet, tranquil in the might of its Creator, nothing can intrude upon the Children of God within.
Here we remember our holy mind establishes everything that happens to us. Every response we make to everything we perceive is up to us because our mind determines our perception of it. This is just one more example of The Creator's gifts.

The grace of Our Creator rests gently on forgiving eyes, and everything they look on speaks of Him to the beholder. He can see no evil. Nothing in the world to fear, and no one who is different from himself. You learn to be born again is simply to let the past go and look without condemnation upon the present.
While free will is one of God's many gifts, at this point only our loving thoughts are real and we realize ever unloving thought during our life dream was a call for healing and help.
Sacrifice is a notion totally unknown to God. It arises solely from fear, and frightened people can be vicious. Sacrificing in any way is a violation God's injunction that we should be merciful even as our Father in Heaven is merciful.

It has been hard for many Christians to realize that this applies to themselves. Good teachers never terrorize their students.
To terrorize is to attack, and this results in rejection of what the teacher offers. The result is learning failure.
What about the Crucifixion? Did God send Jesus down here to die for our sins?
The crucifixion did not establish the Atonement (forgiveness of errors); the resurrection did. Many sincere Christians have misunderstood this. No one who is free of the belief in scarcity could possibly make this mistake.
If the crucifixion is seen from an upside-down point of view, it does appear as if God permitted and even encouraged one of His Sons to suffer because he was good.
This particularly unfortunate interpretation, which arose out of projection, has led many people to be bitterly afraid of God.
Such unloving concepts enter into many religions. Yet the real Christian should pause and ask, "How could this be?" Is it likely that God Himself would be capable of the kind of thinking which His Own words have clearly stated is unworthy of His Son?

Jesus, was not "punished" because we were bad. The wholly benign lesson the Atonement (undoing of errors) teaches is lost if it is tainted with this kind of distortion in any form.
Yes, Jesus, has been correctly referred to as "the lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world," but those who represent the lamb as blood-stained do not under real the meaning of the symbol.
Correctly understood, it is a very simple symbol that speaks of his innocence. The lion and the lamb lying down together symbolize that strength and innocence are not in conflict, but naturally live in peace. "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God" is another way of saying the same thing.
A pure mind knows the truth and this is its strength. It does not confuse destruction with innocence because it associates innocence with strength, not with weakness. Innocence is incapable of sacrificing anything, because the innocent mind has everything and strives only to protect its wholeness.
It cannot project. It can only honor other minds, because honor is the natural greeting of the truly loved to others who are like them.
The lamb "taketh away the sins of the world" in the sense that the state of innocence, or grace, is one in which the meaning of the Atonement is perfectly apparent.
The Atonement (undoing of errors) is entirely unambiguous. It is perfectly clear because it exists in light. Only the attempts to shroud it in darkness have made it inaccessible to those who do not choose to see.

| Childlike faith. The touchstone of seeing God on Earth |
The result of the miracle, induces complete but temporary suspension of doubt and fear. It reflects the original form of communication between God and His creations, involving the extremely personal sense of creation sometimes sought in physical relationships. Physical closeness cannot achieve it.
Miracles, however, are genuinely interpersonal, and result in true closeness to others. Revelation unites you directly with God. Miracles unite you directly with others.
Revelation, like I experienced, is intensely personal and cannot be meaningfully translated. That is why any attempt to describe it in words is impossible.
Revelation induces only experience. Miracles, on the other hand, induce action. Revelation is literally unspeakable because it is an experience of unspeakable love.
So how should we on Earth, think of, Jesus?

| Turn to Jesus for help. He will help you a little more |
I think of him as an elder brother. Entitled to respect for his greater experience, and obedience for his greater wisdom. He is also entitled to love because he is a brother, and to devotion if he is devoted. It is only his devotion that entitles him to ours.
Is Jesus the the only ticket to Heaven?
"No man cometh unto the Father but by me" in the Bible does not mean that he is in any way separate or different from each of us except in time, and time does not really exist.
The statement is more meaningful in terms of a vertical rather than a horizontal axis. We stand below Jesus, and he stand below God. God's Teachers help us because the distance between God and man would be too great for each of us to encompass.
His task is to bridge the distance between everyone here and God. As an elder brother to us on the one hand, and as a Son of God on the other. His devotion to his brothers and sisters has placed in charge of the Sonship, which he render complete because h share it.
How in the world does God keep up with all of us? Within the Sonship, God's Mind, revelations are indirectly inspired by Jesus because he close to the Holy Spirit, and alert to the revelation-readiness. He can thus bring down more to you on earth than we can to y\ourselves. The Holy Spirit mediates higher to lower communication, keeping the direct channel from God to you open for revelation. Revelation is not reciprocal. It proceeds from God to you, but not from you to God.
.All about miracles and how they work:
The miracle minimizes the need for time. In the longitudinal or horizontal plane the recognition of the equality of the members of the Sonship appears to involve almost endless time.
However, the miracle entails a sudden shift from horizontal to vertical perception. This introduces an interval from which the giver and receiver both emerge farther along in time than they would otherwise have been.
There is no relationship between the time a miracle takes and the time it covers.
The miracle substitutes for learning that might have taken thousands of years. It does so by the underlying recognition of perfect equality of giver and receiver on which the miracle rests.
The miracle shortens time by collapsing it, thus eliminating certain intervals within it. It does this, however, within the larger temporal sequence.
Think of it thus .. with the miracle you learn in an instant what may have taken a lifetime without the miracle.
Is anyone able to work miracles now on earth? You working miracles is part of Gods plan. We all teach and learn from one another. Jesus part in the Atonement. is the cancelling out of all errors that you could not otherwise correct. When you have been restored to the recognition of your original state, (spirit) you naturally become part of the Atonement (undoing mistakes) yourself.
As you share my unwillingness to accept error in yourself and others, you must join the great crusade to correct it; listen to The Voice within and, learn to undo error and act to correct it. The power to work miracles belongs to you. The Voice will provide the opportunities to do them, but you must be ready and willing.
Doing them will bring conviction in the ability, because conviction comes through accomplishment. The ability is the potential, the achievement is its expression, and the Atonement, (undoing of mistakes and unloving thought) which is the natural profession of the children of God, is the purpose.
Jesus: "Heaven and earth shall pass away" simply means that they will not continue to exist as separate states. My word, which is the resurrection and the life, shall not pass away because life is eternal. You are the work of God, and His work is wholly lovable and wholly loving.
This is how everyone must think of themselves in their heart because this is what you are. While I am the only one who can perform miracles indiscriminately, you on earth have a role in this communication system yourselves.
Ask me which miracles you should perform. This spares you needless effort, because you will be acting under direct communication. The impersonal nature of the miracle is an essential ingredient, because it enables me to direct its application, and under my guidance miracles lead to the highly personal experience of revelation.

The Golden Rule asks you to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. This means that the perception of both must be accurate. The Golden Rule is the rule for appropriate behavior. You cannot behave appropriately unless you perceive correctly.
Since you and your neighbor are equal members of one family, as you perceive both so you will do to both. You should look out from the perception of your own holiness to the holiness of others.
Miracles arise from a mind that is ready for them. By being united this mind goes out to everyone, even without the awareness of the miracle worker himself. The impersonal nature of miracles is because the Atonement itself is one, uniting all creations with their Creator.
As an expression of what you truly are, the miracle places the mind in a state of grace. The mind then naturally welcomes the Host within and the stranger without. When you bring in the stranger, he becomes your brother.
Jimmy: Why are we here, Jesus. There are so many issues going on ...
Jesus: The issues on earth are really an authority problem. As you are created in spirit, all you know is God's peace and joy.
There needed to be a safe space where you could learn to communicate, create and come to remember love.
As you have "free will" that space needed to be safe. To protect you from each other.
God Extends Himself with Love. Without limits. You may recall Jimmy, in the Bible it says that Adam fell into a very deep sleep. Nowhere does it say he awakened. You are allowed to fall into a deep sleep and experience this life illusion.
As you experience life here all loving thoughts are real, everything else is simply your cry for healing and help no matter what form they take. While you can hurt your bodies on earth, you will never hurt your spirit. Learning with The Sonship. God's Mind.
As you are born into the life dream it is very fearful. In that instant the ego forms. The ego should not be confused with self esteem. Self esteem is a good thing. The ego, on the other hand, is trying to "ease God out" of your life. The reason: So the ego can control your life.
No matter what your ego may be telling you keep this in mind. You do not really understand anything until you have passed the test of perfect peace, for peace and understanding go together and can never be found alone.
If you are not experiencing peace of mind, for what ever reason, the real reason is the ego. Nothing more, nothing less.
Peace is the condition of knowledge because it is the condition of the Kingdom. Knowledge can be restored only when you meet its conditions. The ego or Holy Spirit are the only choices.
Each day you are on earth, each hour, each instant you are choosing what you want to look upon, the

| The ego is a "tiny, mad idea" During your life you may elect ego and ease God out. Or you may elect God's Alter within you The Holy Spirit. Free will allows you this choice. However, God wills you be in Heaven .. and that will be through the miracle of forgiveness. |
There are only two choices. The ego or The Holy Spirit Any direction that would lead you where the Holy Spirit leads you not, goes nowhere. The ego is an incapable of creating the eternal as God is of creating the perishable. What God creates is now and forever. What the ego creates in the insanity of lack of love. This is the nightmare within the earth dream. We are not separate and alone. We are One with God.
This is the reason for miracles. Miracles are natural to your awakening on earth. When they do not occur something has gone wrong. They occur naturally as expressions of love. The real miracle is the love that inspires them. In this sense everything that comes from love, then, is a miracle.
The escape from ego's darkness involves two stages: First, the recognition that darkness cannot hide. This step usually entails fear.
Second, the recognition that there is nothing you want to hide even if you could. This step brings escape from fear. When you have become willing to hide nothing, you will not only be willing to enter into communion but will also understand peace and joy.
Holiness can never be really hidden in darkness, but you can deceive yourself about it. This deception makes you fearful because you realize in your heart it a deception, and you exert enormous efforts to establish its reality. The miracle sets reality where it belongs. Reality belongs only to spirit, and the miracle acknowledges only truth. It thus dispels illusions about yourself, and puts you in communion with yourself and God.
The miracle joins in the Atonement (undoing of mistakes) by placing the mind in the service of the Holy Spirit. This establishes the proper function of the mind and corrects its errors, which are merely lacks of love. Your mind can be possessed by illusions, but spirit is eternally free. If a mind perceives without love, it perceives an empty shell and is unaware of the spirit within. But the Atonement restores spirit to its proper place. The mind that serves spirit invulnerable.

| My miracle. |
Those who perceive and acknowledge that they have everything have no needs of any kind. The purpose of the Atonement is to restore everything to you; or rather, to restore it to your awareness. You were given everything when you were created, just as everyone was.
The emptiness engendered by fear must be replaced by forgiveness. That is what the Bible means by "There is no death," and why I could demonstrate that death does not exist. I came to fulfill the law by reinterpreting it. The law itself, if properly understood, offers only protection. It is those who have not yet changed their minds who brought the "hell-fire" concept into it.
I assure you that I will witness for anyone who lets me, and to whatever extent he permits it. Your witnessing demonstrates your belief, and thus strengthens it. Those who witness for me are expressing, through their miracles, that they have abandoned the belief in deprivation in favor of the abundance they have learned belongs to them.
The miracle, like you experienced Jimmy, is much like the body in that both are learning aids for facilitating a state in which they become unnecessary. When spirit's original state of direct communication is reached, neither the body nor the miracle serves any purpose.
While you believe you are in a body, however, you can choose between loveless and miraculous channels of expression. You can make an empty shell, but you cannot express nothing at all. You can wait, delay, paralyze yourself, or reduce your creativity almost to nothing. But you cannot abolish it. You can destroy your medium of communication, but not your potential. You did not create yourself.
Share this with everyone, Jimmy. "Except ye become as little children" means that unless you fully recognize your complete dependence on God, you cannot know the real power of the Children of God in their true relationship with the Father.
The specialness of God's Children does not stem from exclusion but from inclusion.

| We are all one with God and all creation ... |
All my brothers and sisters are special. If they believe they are deprived of anything, their perception becomes distorted. When this occurs the whole family of God, or the Sonship, is impaired in its relationships.
The only limit put on its choice is that it cannot serve two masters. If it elects to do so, the mind can become the medium by which spirit creates along the line of its own creation.
If it does not freely elect to do so, it retains its creative potential but places itself under tyrannous rather than Authoritative control. As a result it imprisons, because such are the dictates of tyrants.
To change your mind means to place it at the disposal of Authority. The miracle is a sign that the mind has chosen to be led by me in Christ's service. The abundance of Christ is the natural result of choosing to follow Him. All shallow roots must be uprooted, because they are not deep enough to sustain you.
The illusion that shallow roots can be deepened, and thus made to hold, is one of the distortions on which the reverse of the Golden Rule rests. As these false underpinnings are given up, the equilibrium is temporarily experienced as unstable. However, nothing is less stable than an upside-down orientation. Nor can anything that holds it upside down be conducive to increased stability.
Jimmy: Who are the "real" teachers of God, Jesus?
Jesus: A teacher of God is anyone who chooses to be one. His or her qualifications consist solely in this; somehow, somewhere he has made a deliberate choice in which he did not see his interests as apart from someone else.
Once he has done that, his road is established and his direction is sure. A light has entered the darkness. It may be a single light, but that is enough. He has entered an agreement with God even if he does not yet believe in Him. He has become a bringer of salvation. He has become a teacher of God.
They come from all over the world. They come from all religions and from no religion. They are the ones who have answered. The Call is universal. It goes on all the time everywhere.
It calls for teachers to speak for It and redeem the world. Many hear It, but few will answer. Yet it is all a matter of time. Everyone will answer in the end, but the end can be a long, long way off. It is because of this that the plan of the teachers was established.
Their function is to save time. Each one begins as a single light, but with the Call at its center it is a light that cannot be limited. And each one saves a thousand years of time as the world judges it. To the Call Itself time has no meaning.
Jimmy: What if the world just doesn't get it? Hell fire and brimstone? What?
Teachers of God teach love, for that is what you are. "God's Son is guiltless, and in his innocence is his salvation." It can be taught by actions or thoughts; in words or soundlessly; in any language or in no language; in any place or time or manner.
It does not matter who the teacher was before he heard the Call. He has become a savior by his answering. He has seen someone else as himself. He has therefore found his own salvation and the salvation of the world. In his rebirth is the world reborn.
What about relationships on earth?
Relationships are really learning partnerships. As you teach one another, you learn. No one on earth is where they are by accident, and chance plays no part in God's plan. Some relationships last a life time, and some only a moment.
Nothing you undertake with certain purpose and high resolve and happy confidence, holding an other's hand and keeping step to Heavens song, is difficult to accomplish.
Our task is not to seek for love here, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it. As you learn and teach one another. Let no one believe that they are not what you would want them to be. They are the mirror in which you see the image of yourself.
Exempt no one from your love, or you will be hiding a dark place in your mind where the Holy Spirit is not welcome. And thus you will exempt yourself from His healing power, for by not offering total Love you will no be healed completely.
The holy instant is the Holy Spirit's most useful learning device for teaching you Love's meaning. For its purpose is to suspend judgement entirely. Judgment always rests on the past, for past experience is the basis on which you judge. Judgment becomes impossible without the past, for without it you do not understand anything.
Because of guilt, all special relationships have some elements of fear in them. And this is why they shift and change so frequently. They are not based on changeless love alone. And love, where fear has entered, cannot be depended on, because it is not perfect.
In His function as Interpreter of what you have made, the Holy Spirit uses special relationships, which you have chosen to support the ego, as a learning experience which points to truth. Under His teaching, every relationship becomes a lesson in love.
The Holy Spirit knows no one is special. But He also perceives that you have made special relationships, which He would purify, and not let you destroy. However unholy the reason why you made them may be, He can translate them into holiness, by removing As much fear as you will let Him.
You can place any relationship under His care, and be sure that it will not result in pain, if you offer Him your willingness to have it serve no need but His. All the guilt in it arises from your use of it. All the love, from His. Do not, then, be afraid to let your imaged need, which would destroy the relationship, go. Your only need is His.
Any relationship which you would substitute for another, has not been offered to the Holy Spirit, for His use. There IS no substitute for love. If you would attempt to substitute one aspect of love for another, you have placed less value on one, and more on another. You have not only separated them, but have also judged against both. Yet you had judged against yourself first, or you would never have imagined that you needed them as they were not. Unless you had seen yourself as without love, you could not have judged them to be like you in lack.
The ego's use of relationships is so fragmented, that it frequently goes even further; one part of one
Everyone on earth has formed special relationships, and, although this is not so in Heaven, the Holy Spirit knows how to bring a touch of Heaven to them here. In the holy instant, no-one is special, for your personal needs intrude on no-one, to make them different. Without the values from the past you would see them all the same, and like yourself. Nor would you see any separation between yourself and them. In the holy instant, you see, in each relationship, what it WILL be, when you perceive only the present.
God knows you now. He remembers nothing, having always known you exactly as He knows you now. The holy instant parallels. His knowing, by bringing all perception out of the past, thus removing the frame of reference you have built, by which to judge your brothers. Once this is gone, the Holy Spirit substitutes His frame of reference for it. His frame of reference is simply God. The Holy Spirit's timelessness lies simply here. For in the holy instant, free of the past, you see that love is in you, and you have no need to look without, and snatch it guiltily from where you thought it was.
ALL your relationships are blessed in the holy instant, Because the blessing is not limited. In the holy instant, the Sonship gains as one. And, united in your blessing, it becomes one to you. The meaning of love is the meaning God gave to it. Give to it any meaning apart from His, and it is impossible to understand it. Every child God loves as He loves you; neither less nor more. He needs them all equally, and so do you. In time, you have been told to offer miracles as Christ directs, and let the Holy Spirit bring to you those who are seeking you. But in the holy instant, you unite DIRECTLY with God, and ALL your brothers join in Christ.
Those who are joined in Christ are in no way separate. For Christ is the Self the Sonship shares, as God shares His Self with Christ. Think you that you can judge the Self of God? God has created It BEYOND judgment, out of HIS need to extend His love.
With Love in you, you have no need except to extend it. In the holy instant, there is no conflict of needs, for there is only one. For the holy instant reaches to eternity, and to the Mind of God. And it is only there that love has meaning, and only there can it be understood.
It is impossible to use one relationship at the expense of another, and not suffer guilt. And it is equally impossible to condemn PART of a relationship and find peace within it.
Under the Holy Spirit's teaching, ALL relationships are seen as total commitments, yet they do not conflict with one another in any way. Perfect faith in each one, for its ability to satisfy you completely, arises only from perfect faith in yourself. And this you cannot have, while guilt remains. And there will be guilt, as long as you accept the possibility, and cherish it, that you can make a brother what he is not, because you would have him so.
