After the experience of seeing Gods Form on earth I asked these questions of the great teacher
Jimmy: Jesus, that was an amazing experience seeing Gods form on earth.
Jesus: Yes. The holiness of Gods Children, when they are willing, reverses all the laws of the world. It is beyond every restriction of time, space, distance, and limits of any kind.
Jimmy: Before you came to earth, did others come to try and help us?
Jesus: God sent help long before I came. Many Souls offered their efforts to help the Separated Ones ( we on earth ) but they could not withstand the strength of the attack against them and had to be brought back. You on earth are very powerful because you are created of a like quality to Our Creator. God's Love is total. He extends without limits. You are given free will and your choices stay on automatic drive until you change your minds.
Jimmy: I've always wondered, Jesus, are there angels here with us now?
Jesus: Of course. You never walk alone. God's angels hover near you and all about. His love surrounds you, and of this be sure, I will never leave you comfortless.
Jimmy: What about trying to control the Holy Land, Jesus. How important is that?
Jesus: Fighting for a speck of land is the insanity of male ego. The holiest of all the spots on earth is where an ancient hatred has become a present love.
Jimmy: How will this world end?
Jesus: We will go into worlds end a little later, Jimmy. For now know that there is a borderland of thought that stands between this world and Heaven. It is not a place and when you reach it .. it is apart from time.

Jimmy: Tell us about Gods love, Jesus.
Jesus: You cannot understand how much your Father loves you for there is no parallel in your experience of the world to help you to understand it. There is nothing on earth with which it can compare, and nothing you have ever felt apart from Him resembles it.
Know that your holy mind establishes everything that happens to you. Every response you make to everything you perceive is up to you because your mind determines your perception of it. This is just one more example of His gifts.
Jimmy: Free will, Jesus?
Jesus: Yes. As you explore remember you are the work of God and His work is wholly lovable and wholly loving. As you move about rest in His love and protect your rest by loving. Always know that having rest of giving and not on getting.
The grace of God rests gently on forgiving eyes, and everything they look on speaks of Him to the beholder. He can see no evil. Nothing in the world to fear, and no one who is different from himself. You learn to be born again is simply to let the past go and look without condemnation upon the present.
Jimmy: What about the Crucifixion, Jesus? Did God send you down here to die for our sins?

If the crucifixion is seen from an upside-down point of view, it does appear as if God permitted and even encouraged one of His Sons to suffer because he was good. This particularly unfortunate interpretation, which arose out of projection, has led many people to be bitterly afraid of God.
Such unloving concepts enter into many religions. Yet the real Christian should pause and ask, "How could this be?" Is it likely that God Himself would be capable of the kind of thinking which His Own words have clearly stated is unworthy of His Son?
Jimmy: So how do I deal with this, when they say you died for their sins?
Jesus: Jimmy, the best defense, as always, is not to attack another but rather to protect the truth. It is unwise to accept any concept if you have to invert a whole frame of reference in order to justify it.
This procedure is painful in its minor applications and genuinely tragic on a wider scale. Persecution frequently results in an attempt to "justify" the terrible misperception that God Himself persecuted His Own Son on behalf of salvation.
I was not "punished" because you were bad. The wholly benign lesson the Atonement (undoing of errors) teaches is lost if it is tainted with this kind of distortion in any form.
Jimmy: What about the statement in the Bible .. "Vengeance is mine saith the Lord"?

Jesus: The statement "Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord" is a misperception by which one assigns his own "evil" past to God.
The "evil" past has nothing to do with God. He did not create it and He does not maintain it.
Jimmy: So when Christians say we must sacrifice to reach heaven? What about that?
Jesus: Sacrifice is a notion totally unknown to God. It arises solely from fear, and frightened people can be vicious. Sacrificing in any way is a violation of my injunction that you should be merciful even as your Father in Heaven is merciful.

Jimmy: What about your being called "the lamb of God" then, Jesus?
Jesus: I have been correctly referred to as "the lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world," but those who represent the lamb as blood-stained do not understand the meaning of the symbol.
Correctly understood, it is a very simple symbol that speaks of my innocence. The lion and the lamb lying down together symbolize that strength and innocence are not in conflict, but naturally live in peace. "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God" is another way of saying the same thing.
A pure mind knows the truth and this is its strength. It does not confuse destruction with innocence because it associates innocence with strength, not with weakness.

The lamb "taketh away the sins of the world" in the sense that the state of innocence, or grace, is one in which the meaning of the Atonement is perfectly apparent.
The Atonement (undoing of errors) is entirely unambiguous. It is perfectly clear because it exists in light. Only the attempts to shroud it in darkness have made it inaccessible to those who do not choose to see.
Jimmy: That is way, way different that I thought about your death on the cross, Jesus?
Jesus: Yes, Jimmy, I know it is.
How Miracles Work
Jimmy: Jesus, now that I have experienced seeing God's form on earth, would you explain how that happened. Was it a miracle?
Jesus: You received the miracle of forgiveness and for an instant experienced childlike faith. Revelation, the result of the miracle, induces complete but temporary suspension of doubt and fear. It reflects the original form of communication between God and His creations, involving the extremely personal sense of creation sometimes sought in physical relationships. Physical closeness cannot achieve it.
Miracles, however, are genuinely interpersonal, and result in true closeness to others. Revelation unites you directly with God. Miracles unite you directly with others.

Revelation induces only experience. Miracles, on the other hand, induce action. Revelation is literally unspeakable because it is an experience of unspeakable love.
Jimmy: I was in total awe, Jesus. I still am in awe!
Jesus. Of course, awe should be reserved for revelation, to which it is perfectly and correctly applicable. It is not appropriate for miracles because a state of awe is worshipful, implying that one of a lesser order stands before his Creator.
You are a perfect creation, and should experience awe only in the Presence of the Creator of perfection. The miracle is therefore a sign of love among equals. Equals should not be in awe of one another because awe implies inequality. It is therefore an inappropriate reaction to me.
Jimmy: I'm in awe of you Jesus.
Jesus: Think of me as an elder brother, Jimmy. Entitled to respect for his greater experience, and obedience for his greater wisdom. He is also entitled to love because he is a brother, and to devotion if he is devoted. It is only my devotion that entitles me to yours. There is nothing about me that you cannot attain.

Jesus: "No man cometh unto the Father but by me" does not mean that I am in any way separate or different from you except in time, and time does not really exist.
The statement is more meaningful in terms of a vertical rather than a horizontal axis. You stand below me and I stand below God. In the process of "rising up," I am higher because without me the distance between God and man would be too great for you to encompass.
Jimmy: Then your job is ...
Jesus: My task is to bridge the distance between everyone here and God. As an elder brother to you on the one hand, and as a Son of God on the other. My devotion to my brothers and sisters has placed me in charge of the Sonship, which I render complete because I share it.
Jimmy: The Sonship?
Jesus: The Sonship. The Total of All. God's mind.
Jimmy: So you are always tuned to what is going on with us? Like with me when I saw God on earth?
Jesus: Yes. Revelations are indirectly inspired by me because I am close to the Holy Spirit, and alert to the revelation-readiness. I can thus bring down more to you on earth than you can to yourselves. The Holy Spirit mediates higher to lower communication, keeping the direct channel from God to you open for revelation. Revelation is not reciprocal. It proceeds from God to you, but not from you to God.

Jesus: The miracle minimizes the need for time. In the longitudinal or horizontal plane the recognition of the equality of the members of the Sonship appears to involve almost endless time.
However, the miracle entails a sudden shift from horizontal to vertical perception. This introduces an interval from which the giver and receiver both emerge farther along in time than they would otherwise have been.
The miracle thus has the unique property of abolishing time to the extent that it renders the interval of time it spans unnecessary. There is no relationship between the time a miracle takes and the time it covers.
The miracle substitutes for learning that might have taken thousands of years. It does so by the underlying recognition of perfect equality of giver and receiver on which the miracle rests.
The miracle shortens time by collapsing it, thus eliminating certain intervals within it. It does this, however, within the larger temporal sequence.
Jimmy: That is a lot to take in.
Jesus: Think of it thus .. with the miracle you learn in an instant what may have taken a lifetime without the miracle.
Jimmy: Can we help awaken the world to Love, with miracles, Jesus?
Jesus: Of course! That is part of Gods plan. We all teach and learn from one another. My part in the Atonement. is the cancelling out of all errors that you could not otherwise correct. When you have been restored to the recognition of your original state, (spirit) you naturally become part of the Atonement (undoing mistakes) yourself.
As you share my unwillingness to accept error in yourself and others, you must join the great crusade to correct it; listen to my voice, learn to undo error and act to correct it. The power to work miracles belongs to you. I will provide the opportunities to do them, but you must be ready and willing.
Doing them will bring conviction in the ability, because conviction comes through accomplishment. The ability is the potential, the achievement is its expression, and the Atonement, (undoing of mistakes and unloving thought) which is the natural profession of the children of God, is the purpose.
Jimmy: When it says "Heaven and earth shall pass away" what does that mean?

My word, which is the resurrection and the life, shall not pass away because life is eternal. You are the work of God, and His work is wholly lovable and wholly loving.
This is how everyone must think of themselves in their heart because this is what you are. While I am the only one who can perform miracles indiscriminately, you on earth have a role in this communication system yourselves.
Jimmy: How does that work?
Jesus: Ask me which miracles you should perform. This spares you needless effort, because you will be acting under direct communication.
The impersonal nature of the miracle is an essential ingredient, because it enables me to direct its application, and under my guidance miracles lead to the highly personal experience of revelation. A guide does not control but he does direct, leaving it up to you to follow. "Lead us not into temptation" means "Recognize your errors and choose to abandon them by following my guidance."
Jimmy: I have said the Lords Prayer hundreds of times, Jesus, and I never thought of "lead us not into temptation" in that way.
Jesus: (Smile) I know, Jimmy. The Golden Rule asks you to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. This means that the perception of both must be accurate. The Golden Rule is the rule for appropriate behavior. You cannot behave appropriately unless you perceive correctly. Since you and your neighbor are equal members of one family, as you perceive both so you will do to both. You should look out from the perception of your own holiness to the holiness of others.
Miracles arise from a mind that is ready for them. By being united this mind goes out to everyone, even without the awareness of the miracle worker himself. The impersonal nature of miracles is because the Atonement itself is one, uniting all creations with their Creator. As an expression of what you truly are, the miracle places the mind in a state of grace. The mind then naturally welcomes the Host within and the stranger without. When you bring in the stranger, he becomes your brother.

Jimmy: So how did all the problems on earth start, Jesus. Was it the devil? Eve? What?
Jesus: Jimmy, the issues on earth are really an authority problem. As you are created in spirit, all you know is God's peace and joy.
There needed to be a safe space where you could learn to communicate, create and come to remember love. As you have "free will" that space needed to be safe. To protect you from each other.
Jimmy: So, how did God decide what to do?
Jesus: God Extends Himself with Love. Without limits. You may recall Jimmy, in the Bible it says that Adam fell into a very deep sleep. Nowhere does it say he awakened. You are allowed to fall into a deep sleep and experience this life illusion.
As you experience life here all loving thoughts are real, everything else is simply your cry for healing and help no matter what form they take. While you can hurt your bodies on earth, you will never hurt your spirit. Learning with The Sonship. God's Mind.
As you are born into the life dream it is very fearful. In that instant the ego forms. The ego should not be confused with self esteem. Self esteem is a good thing. The ego, on the other hand, is trying to "ease God out" of your life. The reason: So the ego can control your life.

If you are not experiencing peace of mind, for what ever reason, the real reason is the ego. Nothing more, nothing less.
Peace is the condition of knowledge because it is the condition of the Kingdom. Knowledge can be restored only when you meet its conditions. The ego or Holy Spirit are the only choices.
Each day you are on earth, each hour, each instant you are choosing what you want to look upon, the sounds you want to hear, the witness to what you want to be your truth. The Children of God were created to create the good, the beautiful, and the holy. Do not forget this.
There are only two choices. The ego or The Holy Spirit Any direction that would lead you where the Holy Spirit leads you not, goes nowhere. The ego is an incapable of creating the eternal as God is of creating the perishable. What God creates is now and forever. What the ego creates in the insanity of lack of love. This is the nightmare within the earth dream. We are not separate and alone. We are One with God.
This is the reason for miracles. Miracles are natural to your awakening on earth. When they do not occur something has gone wrong. They occur naturally as expressions of love. The real miracle is the love that inspires them. In this sense everything that comes from love, then, is a miracle.
Jimmy: So the nightmare part of our life dream is ego? It is the darkness?

Holiness can never be really hidden in darkness, but you can deceive yourself about it. This deception makes you fearful because you realize in your heart it a deception, and you exert enormous efforts to establish its reality. The miracle sets reality where it belongs. Reality belongs only to spirit, and the miracle acknowledges only truth. It thus dispels illusions about yourself, and puts you in communion with yourself and God.
The miracle joins in the Atonement (undoing of mistakes) by placing the mind in the service of the Holy Spirit. This establishes the proper function of the mind and corrects its errors, which are merely lacks of love. Your mind can be possessed by illusions, but spirit is eternally free. If a mind perceives without love, it perceives an empty shell and is unaware of the spirit within. But the Atonement restores spirit to its proper place. The mind that serves spirit invulnerable.
Jimmy: That sounds a lot like the twelve steps. We are powerless, we have come to believe, we turn our lives over to a God of our understanding, and we share those mistakes we have made with God and another. That's why the twelve steps worked for me!

Those who perceive and acknowledge that they have everything have no needs of any kind. The purpose of the Atonement is to restore everything to you; or rather, to restore it to your awareness. You were given everything when you were created, just as everyone was.
The emptiness engendered by fear must be replaced by forgiveness. That is what the Bible means by "There is no death," and why I could demonstrate that death does not exist. I came to fulfill the law by reinterpreting it. The law itself, if properly understood, offers only protection. It is those who have not yet changed their minds who brought the "hell-fire" concept into it.
I assure you that I will witness for anyone who lets me, and to whatever extent he permits it. Your witnessing demonstrates your belief, and thus strengthens it. Those who witness for me are expressing, through their miracles, that they have abandoned the belief in deprivation in favor of the abundance they have learned belongs to them.
The miracle, like you experienced Jimmy, is much like the body in that both are learning aids for facilitating a state in which they become unnecessary. When spirit's original state of direct communication is reached, neither the body nor the miracle serves any purpose.
While you believe you are in a body, however, you can choose between loveless and miraculous channels of expression. You can make an empty shell, but you cannot express nothing at all. You can wait, delay, paralyze yourself, or reduce your creativity almost to nothing. But you cannot abolish it. You can destroy your medium of communication, but not your potential. You did not create yourself.

Jesus: Yes, the miracle and the miracle worker asking for my direction. The basic decision of the miracle-minded is not to wait on time any longer than is necessary. Time can waste as well as be wasted.
The miracle worker, therefore, acceptance brings everyone closer to the ultimate release from time, in which the Son and the Father are One. Equality does not imply equality . When everyone recognizes that he has everything, individual contributions to the Sonship will no longer be necessary.
When the Atonement (undoing of mistakes) has been completed, all talents will be shared by all the Children of God. God is not partial. All His children have His total Love, and all His gifts are freely given to everyone alike.
Jimmy: When I experience revelation I think I truly had childlike faith.
Jesus: Share this with everyone, Jimmy. "Except ye become as little children" means that unless you fully recognize your complete dependence on God, you cannot know the real power of the Children of God in their true relationship with the Father. The specialness of God's Children does not stem from exclusion but from inclusion.
All my brothers and sisters are special. If they believe they are deprived of anything, their perception becomes distorted. When this occurs the whole family of God, or the Sonship, is impaired in its relationships.

If it does not freely elect to do so, it retains its creative potential but places itself under tyrannous rather than Authoritative control. As a result it imprisons, because such are the dictates of tyrants.
To change your mind means to place it at the disposal of Authority. The miracle is a sign that the mind has chosen to be led by me in Christ's service. The abundance of Christ is the natural result of choosing to follow Him. All shallow roots must be uprooted, because they are not deep enough to sustain you.
The illusion that shallow roots can be deepened, and thus made to hold, is one of the distortions on which the reverse of the Golden Rule rests.
As these false underpinnings are given up, the equilibrium is temporarily experienced as unstable. However, nothing is less stable than an upside-down orientation. Nor can anything that holds it upside down be conducive to increased stability.
Jimmy: Jesus, who are the "real" teachers of God on earth?
Jesus: Jimmy, a teacher of God is anyone who chooses to be one. His qualifications consist solely in this; somehow, somewhere he has made a deliberate choice in which he did not see his interests as apart from someone else's.
Once he has done that, his road is established and his direction is sure. A light has entered the darkness. It may be a single light, but that is enough. He has entered an agreement with God even if he does not yet believe in Him. He has become a bringer of salvation. He has become a teacher of God.
Jimmy: Are they both men and women, Jesus.

Jimmy: Do they come from the Holy Land? From any one religion?
Jesus: They come from all over the world. They come from all religions and from no religion. They are the ones who have answered.
The Call is universal. It goes on all the time everywhere. It calls for teachers to speak for It and redeem the world. Many hear It, but few will answer.
Yet it is all a matter of time. Everyone will answer in the end, but the end can be a long, long way off. It is because of this that the plan of the teachers was established.
Jimmy: What is their goal?
Jesus: Their function is to save time. Each one begins as a single light, but with the Call at its center it is a light that cannot be limited. And each one saves a thousand years of time as the world judges it. To the Call Itself time has no meaning.
Jimmy: Would they ever teach of a "fearful God" Jesus? That we should kill one another in God's name?

Jimmy: What is the central theme of what they teach?
Jesus: "God's Son is guiltless, and in his innocence is his salvation." It can be taught by actions or thoughts; in words or soundlessly; in any language or in no language; in any place or time or manner.
It does not matter who the teacher was before he heard the Call. He has become a savior by his answering. He has seen someone else as himself. He has therefore found his own salvation and the salvation of the world. In his rebirth is the world reborn.
Jimmy: Would they ever teach that control over the Holy Land, is important to God?
Jesus: Of course not, Jimmy. The holiest of all places on earth is where an ancient hatred has become a present

Jesus: Relationships are really learning partnerships. As you teach one another, you learn. No one on earth is where they are by accident, and chance plays no part in God's plan. Some relationships last a life time, and some only a moment.
Nothing you undertake with certain purpose and high resolve and happy confidence, holding an other's hand and keeping step to Heavens song, is difficult to accomplish.
Jimmy: How do we find love here?
Jesus: Your task is not to seek for love here, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.
As you learn and teach one another. Let no one believe that they are not what you would want them to be. They are the mirror in which you see the image of yourself.
Exempt no one from your love, or you will be hiding a dark place in your mind where the Holy Spirit is not welcome. And thus you will exempt yourself from His healing power, for by not offering total Love you will no be healed completely.
The holy instant is the Holy Spirit's most useful learning device for teaching you Love's meaning. For its purpose is to suspend judgement entirely. Judgment always rests on the past, for past experience is the basis on which you judge. Judgment becomes impossible without the past, for without it you do not understand anything. You would make no attempts to judge, because it would be quite apparent to you that you do not know What anything means. You are afraid of this, because you believe that, without the ego, all would be chaos. Yet I assure you that, without the ego, all would be love..
The past is the ego's chief learning device, for it is in the past that you learned to define your own needs, and acquired methods for meeting them on your own terms. I said before that, to limit love to part of the Sonship, (all of us in God's Mind) is to bring guilt into your relationships, and thus make them unreal. If you seek to separate out certain aspects of the totality, and look to them to meet your imagined needs, you are attempting to use separation to save you. How, then, could guilt not enter? For separation is the source of guilt, and to appeal to it for salvation is to believe you are alone.
To be alone is to be guilty. For to experience yourself as alone, is to deny the Oneness of the Father and His Children, and thus to attack reality. You cannot love parts of reality, and understand what love means. If you would love unlike to God, Who knows no special love, how can you understand it? To believe that special relationships, with special love, can offer you salvation, is the belief that separation is salvation. For it is the complete equality of the Atonement (undoing of our mistakes), in which salvation lies. How can you decide that special aspects of the Sonship can give you more than others? The past Has taught you this. But the holy instant teaches you it is not so.

In His function as Interpreter of what you have made, the Holy Spirit uses special relationships, which you have chosen to support the ego, as a learning experience which points to truth. Under His teaching, every relationship becomes a lesson in love.
The Holy Spirit knows no one is special. But He also perceives that you have made special relationships, which He would purify, and not let you destroy. However unholy the reason why you made them may be, He can translate them into holiness, by removing As much fear as you will let Him.
You can place any relationship under His care, and be sure that it will not result in pain, if you offer Him your willingness to have it serve no need but His. All the guilt in it arises from your use of it. All the love, from His. Do not, then, be afraid to let your imaged need, which would destroy the relationship, go. Your only need is His.
Any relationship which you would substitute for another, has not been offered to the Holy Spirit, for His use. There IS no substitute for love. If you would attempt to substitute one aspect of love for another, you have placed less value on one, and more on another. You have not only separated them, but have also judged against both. Yet you had judged against yourself first, or you would never have imagined that you needed them as they were not. Unless you had seen yourself as without love, you could not have judged them to be like you in lack.
The ego's use of relationships is so fragmented, that it frequently goes even further; one part of one aspect suits its purposes, while it prefers different parts of another. Thus does it assemble reality to its own capricious liking, offering for your seeking, a picture whose likeness does not exist. For there is nothing in Heaven or earth that it resembles, and so, however much you seek for its reality, you cannot find it, because it is not real.
Everyone on earth has formed special relationships, and, although this is not so in Heaven, the Holy Spirit knows how to bring a touch of Heaven to them here. In the holy instant, no-one is special, for your personal needs intrude on no-one, to make them different. Without the values from the past you would see them all the same, and like yourself. Nor would you see any separation between yourself and them. In the holy instant, you see, in each relationship, what it WILL be, when you perceive only the present.
God knows you now. He remembers nothing, having always known you exactly as He knows you now. The holy instant parallels. His knowing, by bringing all perception out of the past, thus removing the frame of reference you have built, by which to judge your brothers. Once this is gone, the Holy Spirit substitutes His frame of reference for it. His frame of reference is simply God. The Holy Spirit's timelessness lies simply here. For in the holy instant, free of the past, you see that love is in you, and you have no need to look without, and snatch it guiltily from where you thought it was.
ALL your relationships are blessed in the holy instant, Because the blessing is not limited. In the holy instant, the Sonship gains as one. And, united in your blessing, it becomes one to you. The meaning of love is the meaning God gave to it. Give to it any meaning apart from His, and it is impossible to understand it. Every child God loves as He loves you; neither less nor more. He needs them all equally, and so do you. In time, you have been told to offer miracles as Christ directs, and let the Holy Spirit bring to you those who are seeking you. But in the holy instant, you unite DIRECTLY with God, and ALL your brothers join in Christ.

With Love in you, you have no need except to extend it. In the holy instant, there is no conflict of needs, for there is only one. For the holy instant reaches to eternity, and to the Mind of God. And it is only there that love has meaning, and only there can it be understood.
It is impossible to use one relationship at the expense of another, and not suffer guilt. And it is equally impossible to condemn PART of a relationship and find peace within it.
Under the Holy Spirit's teaching, ALL relationships are seen as total commitments, yet they do not conflict with one another in any way. Perfect faith in each one, for its ability to satisfy you completely, arises only from perfect faith in yourself. And this you cannot have, while guilt remains. And there will be guilt, as long as you accept the possibility, and cherish it, that you can make a brother what he is not, because you would have him so.
You have so little faith in yourself, because you are unwilling to accept the fact that perfect love is in you. And so you seek without for what you cannot find without. I offer you my perfect faith in you, in place of all your doubts. But forget not that my faith must be as perfect in all your brothers as it is in you, or it would be a limited gift to you. In the holy instant, we share our faith in God's Son, because we recognize, together, that he is wholly worthy of it, and, in our appreciation of his worth, we cannot doubt his holiness. And so we love him.

Jimmy: So many stories talk about the final judgement, heavens gate, and all that stuff. What is the story of the final judgement, getting into Heaven. Spending our lives within eternity?
Jesus: There is a borderland of thought that stands between this world and Heaven. It is not a place, and when you reach it is apart from time. Here is the meeting place where thoughts are brought together; where conflicting values meet and all illusions are laid down beside the truth, where they are judged to be untrue.
This borderland is just beyond the gate of Heaven. Here is every thought made pure and wholly simple. This is the journey's end. We have referred to it as the real world. And yet there is a contradiction here, in that the words imply a limited reality, a partial truth, a segment of the universe made true.
This is because knowledge makes no attack upon perception. They are brought together, and only one continues past the gate where oneness is. Salvation is a borderland where place and time and choice have meaning still, and yet it can be seen that they are temporary, out of place, and every choice has been already made.
Nothing the Son of God believes can be destroyed. But what is truth to him must be brought to the last comparison that he will ever make; the last evaluation that will be possible, the final judgment upon this world.
It is the judgment of the truth upon illusion, of knowledge on perception: "It has no meaning, and does not exist." This is not your decision. It is but a simple statement of a simple fact. But in this world there are no simple facts, because what is the same and what is different remain unclear. The one essential thing to make a choice at all is this distinction. And herein lies the difference between the worlds. In this one, choice is made impossible. In the real world is choosing simplified.
Salvation stops just short of Heaven, for only perception needs salvation. Heaven was never lost, and so cannot be saved. Yet who can make a choice between the wish for Heaven and the wish for hell unless he recognizes they are not the same? This difference is the learning goal this course has set. It will not go beyond this aim. Its only purpose is to teach what is the same and what is different, leaving room to make the only choice that can be made.
There is no basis for a choice in this complex and overcomplicated world. For no one understands what is the same, and seems to choose where no choice really is.
The real world is the area of choice made real, not in the outcome, but in the perception of alternatives for choice. That there is choice is an illusion. Yet within this one lies the undoing of every illusion, not excepting this.
Is not this like your special function, where the separation is undone by change of purpose in what once was specialness, and now is union? All illusions are but one. And in the recognition this is so lies the ability to give up all attempts to choose between them, and to make them different. How simple is the choice between two things so clearly unalike. There is no conflict here. No sacrifice is possible in the relinquishment of an illusion recognized as such. Where all reality has been withdrawn from what was never true, can it be hard to give it up, and choose what must be true?
